EBP has gained approval from SAFRAN/SNECMA for EB, TIG and NDT and is currently the only UK accredited supplier for EB welding.

Our Head of NDT, Matt Penfold, has gained Level 3 accreditation for X-ray and Penetrant Inspection, making us independent of external delays and costs in process approval

EBP has gained approval under the “Safecontractor” scheme. Many major companies, including Rolls-Royce, have made this a mandatory qualification before contractors are allowed on site.

EBP has invested £300k in a new 5-axis machining centre with integrated parts loader. The Matsuura MX-520 is due to be commissioned in Jan 2016 and takes EBP into both a new area of complexity and 24/7 operating
£330,000 of funding provided over 2-3 years.

EB WELDING MACHINE UPGRADES
We have now upgraded our older EBW machines to operate under fully programmable weld cycles with real-time weld quality data monitoring. These upgrades will soon be offered to other users of Hawker Siddeley Dynamic welding machines.
Our NDT team have now received training to qualify for a range of testing standards including; EN4179 (Aerospace) EN473/ISO9712 (Industrial) SNT-TC-1A (Oil & Gas) PCN (Personal) Covering VISUAL, HARDNESS, LEAK AND PRESSURE TESTING, RADIOGRAPHY AND FLUORESCENT PENETRANT INSPECTION.
